Congratulations to Tim on his purchase of a Mac G5! I was telling him - next he'll be buying an iPod - to listen to his whole CD collection while sitting in a base camp somewhere... waiting. Personally, I go for the G4 Powerbook with Airport with the Airport Base Station.

yes--it's aesthetically pleasing but I don't think I have the patience to learn very much new stuff. So I may keep a pc for word processing and spreadsheets. The I-mac looks good for internet, photos and music though.
