Nothing against our Tim, he's just not my husband Tim. I always say that to distinguish them. Boulder Bob, keep up, I've been doing that for 10 years now. ;-)

Thanks for the recollection - that's interesting. But tell us something - why don't you like our Tim?
What I remember about that trip to Seattle:
- we went to a David Brearshears book signing and talk. David saw the Bruce Herrod summit photo (from Life) that I had tucked away inside Everest: Mountain Without Mercy by Broughton Coburn, commented on what a beautiful summit photo it was and how he wished they had printed it this good in his book. Everyone is knocked out by this summit photo. It's like Bruce put the beauty of his whole life into it. Golden hour, too. You can't get any better or worse than that on Everest's summit.
David signed my book for Magod... He must have thought I was named after a beautiful river. :-)
- We went to Paradise, Mount Rainier (Carrie, Mark, & Lori), there was 30 feet of snow so people were practicing crevasse rescue up the wall of snow they carved for the parking lot. The lodge was gorgeous. I'd really love to go there with Tim (not this one) some day.
- Had awesome salmon. Great beer. Still got a scratched up pint glass from Dad Watson's (?). Bought some hemp string that I still use all the time.
- Went to Puget Sound to fly kites with Carrie and Mark. Went to see where the salmon come through, saw a license plate with the name Magoo - had a good laugh.
- got locked out of Carrie's house when I went out to my car VERY early didn't want to wake them up so I walked around - in some form of clothing. :-)
That's all for now.

And you ladies look pretty tough - you can hardly tell that you have just returned from the summit.

Wow - hey that picture is great. That's the closest I've come to Rainier.
