Rose: My idea for the 10th year anniversary (I've been thinking about this) is for Outside Online to open our SJC page up again for a while. Wouldn't that be great? People could drop by at their leisure to express their thoughts.
I know that the old SJC attracted trolls but there was a beauty in that anyone could drop by and post. IMO.
I think about you guys when I'm climbing the treadmill mountains (8.0 incline).

I think it would be nice if we had an online "union" by emailing all the past members were a part of SJ and inviting them for a visit around the begining of May? Sort of catching up with everyone, etc. I don't know if a Wiki would be the way to do it as I have never heard of that one before (thanks, Debi - you're always way out front). We still have the problem with Ross not being able to log in here, so I don't know if we could make it work on this format.
I wonder if Outside or any of the other outdoor media will have any sort of anniversary story on '96. It really was a phenomenon as well as a personal tragedy for those involved. Maybe the climbing community got turned off by all the hype. I guess I would like to know about Scott Fischer's family and Rob Hall's little girl. She's 10 this year. And JK - is he still with Outside? Does he do climbing stories? He seems to have focused on other kinds of stories. If anyone has any updates, I hope they will bring them here.
Best regards,
Rose
