1/2 OFF SALE! Climb Grays Peak with Ed Viesturs for 1/2 the price! In August Ed Viesturs will be climbing Grays Peak with the See You at the Top! Summit to Cure Lung Cancer. Their website indicates 10 people will win the chance to climb with Ed by bidding on ebay, minimum starting bid is $1000. Interesingly enough...the ebay auction has been going on for five days now and there are *0* bids. The ebay page indicates 8 people will climb with Ed (not 10) and the minimum starting bid is $500 (not $1000). I wonder if the reduced price is due to lack of interest? The bidding ends on July 25th. It will be interesting to see if anyone ends up taking advantage of this opportunity. BBob, is the price right now? BTW, in addition to climbing with Ed you get to take home a signed copy of his book Himalayan Quest, a JanSport pack and Leki trekking poles and you get your photo taken with him on the summit of Grays (assuming, of course, that you make the top!).
