Thanks Terry. Sounds like a great line-up at Banff--"Ego-tourism"--I love it. I remember watching the Eco-Challenge when it was on the South Island of New Zealand. Although no climbing was involved a billionaire CEO (I wonder how he got on the company team?) went around with a coil of rope over his shoulder. I'm sure he has a framed "action" photo behind his desk. Wonderful article in today's New York Times about a similar-type poser (on an aircraft carrier)--hopefully the attempts of Karl Rove to create mythology will backfire.
