Good to see you back, Dave. Sounds like you are busy. And Terry, thanks for the link to the Banff Festivals. Still haven't gotten there... ;-) The prize winning photos are wonderful and I can even view them from here.
For anyone who is interested in the M&I saga, there is a new five part article on mteverest.net (the link is just to the right)co-written by Jochen Hemmleb and Pete Poston. Pete is a regular on an M&I site that I frequent and has really gotten involved in the story. I haven't had a chance to read it but Pete and Jochen know as much about this as anyone. We have gone around and around on this and it seems that after all there is still reason to think they may have made the summit. Anyway, the committed are still out there trying to piece things together and Jochen and Pete have likely put together a good story.
