Hi Everyone,
Good to hear from y'all. Good luck with the shoulder, Tim. I think these things can take a while to heal so don't be discouraged if it is slow going. No favorites on the Everest front as yet although it will be interesting to see what ENews comes up with in their search for M&I artifacts. Thanks to BBob for posting Eric's plans. I had heard that Jake was not going up this year which is disappointing as I think he is still interested in M&I. At least he and Dave Hahn did some searching last year. Jake has located a lot of the old Camps (1975 and earlier) which fills in the map and gives better distance relationships. But no new M&I data. It's not clear to me how much of the terrain has actually been searched for SI and the camera and how viable the idea of additional searches are. Some knowledgable folks have come to the conclusion that Wang actually found GM rather than SI even though the description that has come to us does not match the remains of GM. I am not sure that I agree with this conclusion but obviously I am not an expert. But it is getting harder to resist the possibility that SI may have avalanched off the face. So we wait to see if anything is found this year...

Hi, magoo ;-)

Best regards,
Rose
