Hi Tim, Bbob, Brucie, etc, etc. I’m around but have been on vac. Tried alpine skiing for the very first time. Was in your area Bbob; Copper Mtn. Enjoyed the experience a lot but comparing xcountry sking to alpine is like peaceful, quiet, alone vs. where is the party???? Then went up to WY to visit son who is living in a yurt. Quite nice. He spent the fall in Nepal climbing Ama Dablam and also did some rock climbing in Thailand. I have Longs Peak on the brain once again but may try something different. Hike in the Tetons first and then go over to CO that way I should be more acclimatized and ready for the slog up Longs. We’ll see how it works out. Quite the dump of snow Bbob.
