Ten years! Has it been? This time thing has me baffled. I'll hear of an anniversary, like the death of John Denver, and not believe it's been eight and a half years. But, strangely, ten years seems like too short a time to compress all the experiences I've had that have been somehow touched or shaped by the SJC. Could there be something about expansive experience that makes time seem longer? I know that childhood seemed to take forever, at least when it was my own. That of my own kids . . . . seemed like an instant. If twisting our neurons into knots can stretch time, then I'm all for it. I'm all for reunions too, online or the other kind.
