Hey Folks,
The Banff Mountain Film and Book Festivals are coming up again this Autumn. Being in the 10th anniversary year of the Event which brought us all together, it strikes me that this would be a great occasion for a Union ( or Re-Union ).
It's June now, so lots of time to plan for the event.
The Film Fest begins and runs Sat. Oct. 28 - Oct. 30 ;
The Book Fest runs Wed. Nov. 1 - Nov. 3 ;
The Film Fest resumes Fri. Nov. 3 - Sun. Nov. 5
I plan to attend from Thurs. Nov. 2 - Sun. Nov. 5. I believe Bruce will be attending aproximately the same dates. For an appropriate cash inducement, I might be inclined to extend my stay.
Come, meet my Bride with the Sherpani name, Ginnu. Learn, firsthand, how Canadian women dote on their men ! Meet Bruce's beautiful and charming wife and realise why she truly is his ' better half '. Meet their delightful children.
You retired folk have no excuse. Make your plans now. For those of us shouldering the burden of carrying these retired people, think of this as a well deserved respite from our daily travails.
