Hi Lori,
Nice to hear from you.
Sorry to hear about your near fatal gardening wound. Still, it's heartening to know that there is yet another American promoting the global spread of Gladiolas.
I remember your visit well. Good times.
I recall offering to make dinner the first night at Tunnel Mountain ( or, at least offering to have Ginnu make it..........G really appreciates it when I selflessly promote her cooking ).
I remember how touched we all were when you responded by offering to make dinner the second night. You even went so far as to inquire of each of us what flavour of J we would want with our PB .
It was at this point that I pulled Patrick aside and said, " Patrick, don't be a fool, marry the girl!"
Lastly, I recall with appreciation, how, after the trip when PBob was doing a TR for the Adjunct Site and he circulated a Draft in which he referred to my " bushy brown and grey mustache ", you leapt to my defence and insisted that it was a " bushy BROWN mustache with attractive flecks of gray, reflective of CST's maturity and wisdom ". Loved you for that. My own modesty would never have permitted me to make such a comment.
Alas, Lass, brown, not so much, anymore.
